High-end resorts and casinos are lucrative targets for criminal gangs and tend to make headlines when they are attacked, such as the attacks on MGM Grand and Caesars. Law enforcement and incident responders generally advise victims of attacks not to pay any demands, as it only encourages more future crime without any real guarantee that any data will be really deleted and not later sold.
