Express reports:
Google has just confirmed the release of an important update that all Chrome users should install immediately. The important new software patch fixes a whopping 213 security issues, including 7 that Google has branded critical. According to the team at Malwarebytes, a number of the bugs could allow cyber crooks to run remote and malicious code through things such as specially crafted HTML pages.
For those not in the know, remote code execution attacks are among the most dangerous cyber threats. That’s because they allow hackers to run malicious code on someone else’s device without their knowledge or permission. This can give criminals access to personal data, passwords and banking details, install malware or even take complete control of a computer.
