Bloomberg reports:
The hacking group behind a recent ransomware attack on the largest global lender, Industrial & Commercial Bank of China Ltd., said it received a ransom payment.
A representative for the group, called LockBit, confirmed the payment on Monday but declined to provide further details. Bloomberg News wasn’t able to verify the gang’s claim, and the state-owned bank didn’t respond to a request for comment.
