Vivendi Ticketing US d/b/a See Tickets is notifying 323,498 consumers of a data security incident that compromised consumers’ payment card information.
In a notification letter being sent this week, the ticket broker states that in May, they became aware of unusual activity on some of their e-commerce sites. Forensic specialists determined that unauthorized individuals had injected multiple instances of malware into checkout pages. The malware enabled the attackers to acquire payment card data for orders placed between February 28 and July 2, 2023.
The firm is offering those affected 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring via Kroll, but notes they have no evidence of any misuse of the data.
See Tickets has a copy of their notification on their website with more information. Their report to the Maine Attorney General’s Office indicates that 323,498 consumers are being notified, of whom 559 are Maine residents.
