With the busy holiday travel season upon us, it’s important to remember that while that free airplane Wi-Fi may be convenient, it may be safer to stay off of it. In a recent survey of American travelers, Forbes found that a whopping 67 percent of those who have had their information compromised via public Wi-Fi said it happened on a plane.
This makes planes the most common location for U.S. travelers to experience a data breach. The next most common is hotels at 56 percent.
